About WonderED K-12 Academy
How We Started, Our Expansion, and a Pioneering Approach to Education
Founded in 2017 as Dream Academy Schools, with a mission to address the need for an alternative to public education. As a virtual school, we quickly grew to make an impact on students and the community. Our virtual school soon branched out and became available to students in many states across the US (and we are continuing to grow!).

In 2022, we embarked on a project to refine Dream Academy’s approach and shift from a ‘traditional’ standards-based education model to a model that puts Student Voice at the center. This Competency- and Project-Based Learning Model has resulted in an innovative, student-driven platform and pedagogy that has brought together approach and technology to create a true Student-Centered, Innovative, Accredited Learning Experience.

In 2023, we achieved global accreditation, marking a significant milestone in our journey. As part of its nationwide expansion, the institution rebranded from Dream Academy to WonderED K-12 Academy, solidifying its commitment to providing an exceptional and globally recognized education experience for students of all ages.
